Resumen:

En este artículo repasaré las reflexiones que Manuel Sacristán dedicó a la cuestión de la tecnología. Comenzando con la distinción entre técnica y tecnología desarrollaré la relación que Sacristán establece entre la última y la ciencia. Así mostraré que el grueso de las reflexiones, centrales en su obra, que el filósofo madrileño dedicó a la ciencia son igualmente aplicables a la cuestión de la tecnología. Finalmente repasaré las conclusiones políticas que Sacristán derivó de lo anterior, en concreto los límites que impuso a algunas de las lecturas marxistas más ortodoxas.

Abstract:

In this article I review the reflections devoted by Manuel Sacristan to the issue of technology. Starting with the distinction between technique and technology, I will develop the relationship that Sacristán drew between technology and science. Then I will show that the his reflections about science, central in his work, are equally applicable to the question of technology. Finally, I will review the political conclusions Sacristán derived from the above, in particular the limits imposed on some of the most orthodox Marxist readings.
