Resumen

El artículo expone las líneas fundamentales del uso práctico de la razón fronteriza que Eugenio Trías propondría como recreación de la racionalidad filosófica. En primer lugar muestra cómo la ética y la política del límite suponen una reflexión sistemática en torno a cuatro ideas-valores fundamentales: libertad, felicidad, justicia y seguridad. En un segundo momento se detiene en la perversión del motivo “seguridad” como aquello que engendra el “mal político” que asediaría a la praxis fronteriza, para valorar finalmente el papel del arte como una dimensión práctica que nos ayuda a evitarlo.

Abstract

This article analyzes the fundamental ideas of the practical application of the frontier of reason, which Eugenio Trías proposed as the recreation of philosophical rationality. To begin with, it shows how ethics and the politics of limits represent a systematic reflection on four basic ideas-values: freedom, happiness, justice and security. Secondly, it deals with the perversion of “security” as the source of “political failure”, and thus, would besiege the frontier of praxis, and finally, this concept will lead to assess the role of art as a practical dimension that would help to avoid “political failure.
