Resumen

En el presente artículo deseamos establecer las principales líneas de la crítica que el filósofo Jean-Marie Schaeffer (1952), como representante de un naturalismo no reduccionista, realiza al clásico debate entre las concepciones del Arte autónomo (supuestamente ajeno a ideología alguna, y por ello considerado ideológico) y del Arte emancipatorio. Tras una breve introducción, explicaremos lo que llama Teoría especulativa del Arte, que alienta ambas posiciones, y propondremos la vía abierta y explorada por la “estética naturalista”.

Abstract

In this article we wish to establish the main lines of criticism that the philosopher Jean-Marie Schaeffer (1952), as a representative of a non-reductionist naturalism, makes to the classic debate between the conceptions of autonomous Art (supposedly out of any ideology, and for that reason considered ideological) and of emancipatory Art. To do this, after a brief introduction, we will explain what he calls Speculative Theory of Art, which encourages both positions. Then, we will propose the path opened and explored by “naturalistic aesthetics”.
