Resumen

Este artículo pretende ofrecer una lectura paralela del Tractatus Logico- Philosophicus de Wittgenstein y de “Ontological Relativity” de Quine, intentando mostrar que las conclusiones filosóficas de uno y otro son muy equiparables. Como conclusión general de este artículo, obtenemos que el punto de vista o el método conductista para el escrutinio del significado (iniciado por J. Dewey, y seguido por el segundo Wittgenstein y el propio Quine), no supone un giro sustancial respecto a la filosofía del Tractatus, por la razón de qué en éste ya se había dado tal giro (sin que fuera advertido por los intérpretes positivistas).

Abstract

This article attempts to give a parallel approach of Wittgenstein´s Tractatus Logico- Philosophicus and Quine´s "Ontological Relativity" and tries to highlight the similarities between the philosophical conclusions of both. As general conclusion of this article, it could be said that the behavioural method or point of view for the meaning studies (initiated by J. Dewey and continued by Wittgenstein or Quine) does not mean a substantial turn with regard to the philosophy of the Tractatus, because the Tractatus already contains such turn (undetected by the positivist commentators).
